Ab Fab Day
14/02/2008 by Aileen.
Had an absolutely fabulous (wrong use of word!) day yesterday. I said to John in the morning I just knew it was going to be good. Up at 6.15 so had over 3 hours to potter round house and cyberspace. Then on to Birding. It was meant to Potteric Carr which I love, but there was a half term fun day for kids so Michael changed the venue to North Cave Wetlands, which is less than 2 miles from where I live.
We saw….

close views of snipe
and a host of other things.
In addition, the sun was warm on our faces and the wolds looked magnificent. The air is so clean.
At Slimming World I found I had lost 3lbs so that added to my delight.
As a reward, John and I had scampi and chips on the way home from Tom’s where we were delivering something counselling related!
