Tomorrow is another day

That’s funny, I’ve just typed the heading, and there’s music on the tv which I think is from Gone with the Wind! Anyway, I have great plans for the week as usual. John’s really busy, with four clients and a two day course. So I really have to get on with things. Mostly the garden.

We weren’t allowed to take photos at Everingham, but had a great time. The outside of the church (private chapel)  was ugly in my opinion, but when we got inside I had tears in my eyes. The architecture was astounding. There are these large neo-classicalatatues all alongthe wide walls,

Oops. It is tomorrow. Food was ready I think, so I closed pooter and forgot about this post. Anyway, great plans for the perfect house today, meditation, gardening, camera club this evening.

CMA due in for OU. Will do that NOW.

Different sort of Saturday

Well, I usually do a local shop, and the day sort of goes. Today I’m off to Everingham church with my local church. I don’t know much about it, except that it has wonderful architecture. Should get some good photos. I think it’s on private land, and it’s being opened up especially for us.

Other news - John’s drainage wound seems to be almost closed up, but as he says, we’ve been here before. Anyway, it does seem to be improving so all that bed rest is working. It’ll be so nice to get out together again. Yes, I know we went to Scotland last week, but it didn’t seem to do much harm.

Anyway, I’d better go and get ready. Barbara i s driving three of us there. I think there’s a mini coach going too.

Oh, I forgot. I’ve discovered a new way to make clothes in Second Life and it’s so addictive. You take a photo of a garment (from an online catalogue or somewhere) and shape it in Photoshop to fit some templates. It’s really cool. I’ll see if I can upload a piccy in a minute.

The other thing I don’t think I mentioned is that I have finished A215 - Creative Writing. It was a wonderful course and I’m going on to do Level 3.

I didn’t make the hair or shoes. So I have a new target now.

Birding

With my newfound freedom (!) I spent longer birding today. We saw marsh harriers and a bittern this morning, and instead of going home at lunch time I went to North Cave Wetlands. Well, John had a client from 2-3pm so he didn’t miss me. He missed the lovely bacon buttie I got from the stall at the Wetlands though! Anyway, here are a few photos from today.

Free as a bird

I spent most of Monday and Tuesday working on my ECA (no idea what that stands for except maybe Extended ^^^^^^^^^^^^ Assignment) I posted it yesterday and now feel sort of bereft but very free. A215 was such a wonderful course. It really MADE me write. The course book is inspiring, I met some lovely people in RL (real life!) and the tutor is great. I’m going on to do the Level 3 course in the autumn.

I’m a bit behind with the Photography course, but will soon catch up. I did a lot of the technical stuff with City and Guilds, so I just need to post some photos connected with the last two assignments. I also need to submit the CMA (and that stands for Computer Marked Assignment) There are a couple of questions I can’t get my head around yet, but I’v got a few days in hand.

In the meantime, here are a couple of photos from Liam’s First Communion.
